Magnetic Wars Update now available!

The update includes:
  • Improved aiming and steering
  • Two additional levels in the trial version
There is still no winner in the competition, but we believe the improved steering and aiming will make the game a bit easier and therefore we hope that someone now will be able to beat the game!

Magnetic Wars Competition!

So far, we haven't heard of anyone finishing all the impossible levels. In fact, only one of us developers has and therefore we decided to have a competition. The rules are simple, the task is not:
Finish all levels on impossible and then take a photo of the main menu (which will change) when your done and send it to us. The one who first send us a proof will win the competition.

Prizes:
- Two redeem codes to give away or put on the fridge or.. Yeah, you can do whatever you want with these.
- An winner interview which will be published on the blog.
- Lifelong respect!

Send an email with the subject "Magnetic Champion!" and your screenshot to gumaproductions(at)gmail(dot)com

Magnetic Wars redeem code lottery!

First monday for Magnetic Wars comes to an end, at least here in Sweden. We felt that this must be celebrated and what would be more fun way of doing this than having a redeem code lottery?
The lottery tickets are for free, just send an email to gumaproductions(at)gmail(dot)com with the topic "Redeem Code Competition".

Magnetic Wars now on Xbox Live Indie Games!

guma Productions would like to announce that its first game, the space shooter Magnetic Wars,
is now available for purchase on Xbox LIVE Indie Games for the price of 80 Microsoft Points.

Magnetic Wars is a twin stick space shooter unlike most others, as players need to use their ship's magnetic powers to repel enemies and projectiles which can also be magnetically charged.
The game features twenty varying levels and a bunch of power ups to help beat them. Players can choose to play by themselves or with a friend in a local cooperative mode.

indienerds.com: Hands On Magnetic Wars

We let Gerald Terveen at indienerds.com do a preview on the game and it seems he liked it:

"If you are looking for a successor to Geometry Wars you will love this game. It has even cooler enemies that have impressive swarm tactics and a lot more diversity. Believe me – once you get attacked by Tetris pieces you know what I mean."
